What is the Peer Mentorship Program (PMP)?
PMP is an initiative coordinated by the College of Biological Science Student Council for the purpose of aiding first-year students in their transition to post-secondary life! The goals of this peer mentorship are as follows:
- Foster more relationships between first-year and senior students in CBS.
- Connect first-year students to helpful resources and advice through an upper-year mentor, who will aid in the transition to university life and academics.
- Provide an opportunity for involvement and leadership for upper-year students that is flexible and not too time-demanding.
- To collect feedback at the end of each semester, as well as any informal feedback from participants during the semester, to develop the program further.
